Year 9 Homework and Summer Schedule

Introduction

Imagine that you are a newly qualified science teacher and have been asked by the leader of a local authority to promote the learning of science to children and youths on a local estate where many of the young people appear not to be interested in science. From initial research it has become evident that young people feel that the teaching of science needs to embrace youth culture.

  • Devise a rap on a science topic of your choice.


Summer Work

1. Read 4 to 6 books over the summer break.
2. Write a review on each book that you read.
3. Complete the maths packs that you have been supplied with.
